Our first guest supper club is coming to Bristol Spirit! The wonderful 'Slow Suppers' will be hosting an evening with us on the 28th March.
Since 2016, friends Anna Blightman and Louise Forster-Smith have been cooking up feasts at their intimate dining experiences. With menus that creatively champion local, fresh organic produce, the main dish is always slow cooked, making it deliciously rich and complex.
Initially based in Fishponds, they created the evening as an invitation to come together. As mothers with young children, both newly arrived in Bristol they wanted a way to meet people with a love of food in a cosy, informal setting.
Sourcing local and organic ingredients where possible, their menus change with the seasons. Previously they have worked with lots of lovely well-known suppliers including Assembly Bakery, Bath Farm Cheese, Edible Futures, More Wine, Popti & Beast amongst others.
Tickets are £35pp including all food and a welcome Espensen Spirit cocktail.
We'll also be creating a pairing menu of cocktails/mocktails to compliment the food, as well as our usual excellent range of local beers and ciders and a cracking wine list.
