St Patrick's Cinema Club - The Commitments
This product is currently sold out.
Roger Ebert said that "The Commitments is a loud, rollicking, comic extravaganza about a rock band from the poorest precincts of North Dublin that decides to play soul music. The movie is filled with life and energy, and the music is honest - one of the few movies about a fictional band, that’s able to convince us the band is real and actually plays together."
We chose this as our Cinema Club screening for St Patrick's Day because to us at Bristol Spirit it represents the best of Ireland - passion, friendship, booze, humour, soul and raw sexiness.
Tickets cost £12.50 and include VAT, an Espensen Spirit cocktail on arrival and popcorn. Other food and drink is not included in the price - and will be provided care of our fantastic March pop-up Creative Sliders - winner of a Bath Food Award for Best Burger. Fran is dreaming up some specials just for the night - there will be vegan and GF options - please let us know in advance of dietary requirements.
Please note our screenings are dog friendly but strictly over 18's only.
Doors open at 6, with food served up until 8, when the film will start. There will be an interval during which pudding will be on offer.
